When do I receive the images?
Image delivery begins on the same day of the shoot.
How are the images delivered?
As images are processed and completed, they are uploaded to a URL which will be provided. Image delivery is typically completed the following day.
How many images will I receive?
Twenty-five images will be delivered. Can be more if all the rooms are staged and ready to be photographed.
Should lights be on or off?
It depends on the desired mood. Real estate photographs often have lights on to showcase fixtures. Architectural and Airbnb photographs typically have lights off for natural and consistent looks. Should lights be on, make sure the light bulbs used are of the same temperature in each room. The three primary types of color temperature for light bulbs are: Soft White (2700K – 3000K), Bright White/Cool White (3500K – 4100K), and Daylight (5000K – 6500K).
Can pets be included in the photos?
Pets in architectural photography add personality, warmth, and a sense of “lived-in” authenticity to otherwise sterile, staged spaces. For real estate, probably not. They risk alienating buyers with allergies, creating distractions, and suggesting, smells or damage. For Airbnb, definitely. Just avoid showing pets on furniture to prevent discouraging non-pet owners.
Should people be included?
Including people in architectural photography adds a sense of scale, life, and narrative, helping viewers relate to the space and understand its purpose. Including people in real estate photographs can enhance emotional connection and help buyers visualize themselves living in the space. For Airbnb, probably not. Focus on the space itself to show scale, instead.
When staging a home, what are some don’ts?
Avoid holiday decorations. Examples include Christmas trees, pumpkins, and Easter Bunnies.
Don’t mix light bulbs of different temperatures in a room.
